In a quiet town in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, where the whispers of nature held the promise of dreams, my journey with golf began. At just four years old, I held a golf club in my hands, unknowingly sparking a passion that would shape my life. In that brief instance, the feel of the club's grip connected me to a love that would become an inseparable part of who I am.

My golf journey deepened through summers spent at my grandfather’s farmhouse, where a vast field and a private putting green became my training ground and sanctuary. A place where my love for the sport grew alongside my skills, shaping my aspirations for the future.

During those small-town summers, I bonded with my grandfather at our little nine-hole golf course. He had this calm wisdom and worldly knowledge that helped the process of shaping how I looked at life. These lessons not only improved my golf game but also influenced how I approach challenges in my own life.

As my passion grew the golf course turned into my arena of success. In high school, I won six out of eight golf conference events in a single season, a testament to the countless hours of practice. The cherry on top came when I stood as the Upper Peninsula Division 1 Champion, a culmination not just of wins but of the resilience built through long days of practice and overcoming challenges.

Ferris State University became my haven, not only fostering my golfing skills but also igniting a passion for learning as I embarked on internships that shaped me at Boyne Highlands Golf Resort, Bearpath Golf and Country Club, Bandon Dunes, and Golf Club of Houston, each destination leaving an indelible mark on my journey.

With my PGA credentials in hand, I found a new purpose, sharing the knowledge and passion that had fueled my own journey as I stood on the range and putting green, guiding the next generation of golfers toward their own dreams, and finding fulfillment in their progress.
